Cancellation & Refund Policy

Airport transfers and chauffeur hire

• Cancel free of charge up to 24 hours before the pickup time.
• Within 24 hours: 50% of the fare is charged. Within 3 hours, or if the driver is already at the pickup point, the full fare is charged.
• Flight delays are not treated as late cancellations — we track your flight and adjust the pickup time. If your flight is cancelled by the airline, tell us as soon as you know and we will refund or rebook without charge.

Overnight desert safaris, groups of 10+ and private events

• A 25% deposit is due at booking and becomes non-refundable 7 days before the service date.
• Cancellation 3–7 days before: 50% of the total. Within 72 hours: 100%.
• Conference, incentive and event contracts carry the terms stated in the signed proposal, which take precedence over this page.

Weather and safety

Desert activities and dhow cruises can be stopped by the authorities or by our operations team for sandstorms, high winds or extreme heat. When we cancel for safety, you choose a full refund or a new date — never a fee.

We may also change a route or shorten a stop for road closures, official events or security reasons; where a substantial part of the tour cannot be delivered, we refund that part proportionally.

How refunds are paid

• Card payments made through Tap Payments are refunded to the same card in the currency you paid (USD or QAR). Banks typically take 5–10 working days to show the credit.
• Bank transfers are refunded to the sending account; cash payments are refunded in cash at our office or by bank transfer.
• We never charge a fee to process a refund you are entitled to.

Message us on WhatsApp at +974 7052 6969, email info@dohatransittours.com, or use the booking link in your confirmation email. Cancellations count from the moment we receive your message; you will get a written confirmation within a few hours.
